Method comparison

369 method vs 33x3: which should you start with?

33x3 is the shortest writing method there is: 33 lines a day for 3 days, 99 lines and done. 369 is 18 lines a day for 33 or 45 days. If you have never finished a manifestation practice, start with 33x3. If you already know you can, 369 gives you far more repetition.

Do the 369 method if

369 is built on rhythm rather than volume. Three sittings a day, five minutes each, for over a month. The total is 594 lines at 33 days and 810 at 45.

  • You have already finished a shorter practice and want more.
  • You like coming back to it three times a day.
  • You want the numbers 3, 6 and 9, which is where the method's whole idea sits.
  • A three day practice feels too short to change anything for you.

Do the 33x3 method if

33x3 is one affirmation, 33 times a day, for 3 days. Ninety nine lines in total, the smallest ask of any writing method on this site.

  • You want to start tonight and be finished by the weekend.
  • You have abandoned longer practices and want a win first.
  • Three days fits around a week you cannot control.
  • You want to test whether writing methods suit you at all before committing a month.

Can you do both?

Yes, and this is the pairing where doing both makes the most sense. 33x3 is short enough to be a warm up rather than a competing practice: three days to find your line and prove you turn up, then straight into 369 with an affirmation you have already lived with. The other direction works too, using 33x3 as a top up after a 369 run ends. If you want something in between, 55x5 sits at five days.

Common questions

It is the shortest, at 99 lines, and it is a real method with a real following. Short is the point: it is the one people actually finish. If it leaves you wanting more repetition, that is exactly what 369 is for.
